| PILOTS INFORMATION FOR THE EVENT |
| Arrivals
Please advise your proposed arrival and departure times direct to Glen Moreman via e-mail glen@kemble.org.
Regrettably many of our neighbours dislike both aircraft and noise. On arrival and departure, please be aware of the published local noise abatement procedures. Diversions Suggested diversions are either Brize Norton (134.3) or Lyneham (123.4) as circumstances dictate. Oaksey Park (150 deg / 2.0 nm on 122.77) is also available. A Flight Information Service will operate during the period of the event on 118.9. All Helicopters will enter the Kemble ATZ not above 500ft QFE to join and report. There will be NO FLYING DISPLAY as has been indicated due to the both the Royal Navy and the Army Air Corps pulling out at the last minute. The event will now be a FLY-IN only and so slot times are not now required however we would still like to know if your are coming to visit us, please e-mail glen@kemble.org to notify your intentions. Departure Instructions Departure will be the reverse of the joining instructions. Helicopters wanting to depart before 1400L must call Kemble Information before start, to ensure that it is safe to do so. Pleasure flight helicopter(s) will be operating throughout the day on the South side of the airfield except for displays when a display has requested the helicopter(s) to be on the ground. |
